Rance Norton

Country Music. True Country Music. Traditional Country Music. These are some of the words that describe Rance Norton. Country Music has been the way of life for Norton since a young age. “I remember sitting with my Great-Grandmother listening to Ray Price, Merle Haggard, and George Jones; it was through these times with her I found my influence to play Country Music.”

Being a child of the 1990s, Norton draws from the rich pedigree of country artists from the period.  George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt, Clint Black, Marty Stuart, and Travis Tritt are all heard within Rance's music.

When Norton was 8 years-old he started travelling Texas singing at all the major Country Oprys. After college graduation, he formed his first band; Rance Norton and the Cadillac Cowboys. The Cadillac Cowboys played Honky-Tonks all over Texas as a Western Swing, hardcore country dance band.

2017 heralded Norton's debut EP of all original songs, featuring a newer, more modern take on the traditional styles he is known for. He has formed a new band to help promote his first single, “Just Start Walking”.

"I'm ready to get out there and be heard.  I'm proud of my new material, and I want everybody to get a chance to hear it."
